Pimp My Presentation

For this activity I decided to make a popplet.  It was very easy to use but I think that I would like the ability to also reuse some of the bubbles that I made as I review content with students.  I also wish I could make it look like a web to help show many of the connections with the cell structures that I was talking about.  I like the ability to color code to help show some of the connections.  I have a link to my Popplet below.
Honestly I like making presentations better in smart software, prezi, and PowerPoint.  Maybe that is just because I am getting old.

I looked at glogster as well.  I think I would like this for having the students use as I like to let them draw and make many mini posters during the year and this would give them lots of creative freedom  with adding content and save on paper!! :)

  1. Christine,
Love the Lorax You Tube - I'm sure the kids do too. I think I have to sign up for Popplet before I can view your newest product. I want to try it anyway, so I think it will help to see what you've done. I've been working on a Prezi - too much motion for my weak stomach, but I'm giving it a go!

  2. Is there a way to look at your Popplet without creating a log-in?

  3. Christine...I agree with your comment about using PowerPoint. Since that's where I started, I keep going back to it. I made my first Prezi during Summer Camp but ended up using some of my PowerPoint slides because I had used special effects that Prezi didn't offer. PowerPoint gives so many options for designing that I haven't seen anywhere else. I guess with all of the new options, though, we will keep our students guessing. They won't know what will be coming, next! Cute picture of your kids!

  4. I can't get to your Popplet either. I agree, I like Glogster better than Popplet but it can work well for a basic graphic organizer where students can add images and video.
